1880-S Morgan S$1 PCGS graded MS-68.
Superb Gem really don't quite describe the true beauty of this example. The obverse is reflective with a deeply frosted portrait indicating it was struck with a freshly prepared die. The reverse, on the other hand, was struck with a more used die leaving it with a satiny field and barely frosted device. Both sides exhibit a scant amount of reddish-golden peripheral toning. An absolutely remarkable specimen destined for the finest collection.
